COVID-19 Response

Melanie Hinson and all of the stylists and estheticians of JL Studio Salon & Spa have worked diligently during the closure of our office due to COVID-19 to update our already rigorous sanitation and safety standards.

Our top priority has always been to deliver an unparalleled experience to our clients, and our resolve is stronger now than ever before. We have been hard at work to raise the bar of hygiene and sanitation, as well as considering every step of your service experience to ensure we meet your needs in a focused and safe manner that is in accordance with government guidelines. You might notice some changes during your next visit as new policies and procedures have been implemented to further promote the health and safety of clients and staff which we’ve outlined below:

WHAT MELANIE HINSON HAIR AND JL STUDIO SALON & SPA ARE COMMITTED TO: 
 

• We follow all current NC State guidelines for salons.

• Enhanced cleaning procedures to deep clean all areas of contact (chairs, sinks, surfaces, etc.) and hair styling utensils and common areas.

• Meeting or exceeding all state, local and regulatory guidelines relating to sanitation and hygiene. All disinfectants used in our salon are verified to ensure they meet the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

• Masks are no longer required by NC State. However, staff members will wear a mask in the salon upon request. Your health is our highest priority.

• Increased education for our team focused on sanitation and hygiene standards for smart, safe practice.
   

DURING TIMES OF HIGH CASE COUNTS AS REQUIRED BY NC STATE GUIDELINES, WHAT WE ARE REQUESTING CLIENTS TO: 
 

• Please text Melanie when you arrive and remain in your car. She will text you when she is ready for you.

• Face masks are required for all clients and masks must stay on for the duration of your visit.

• Please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands immediately upon entering.

• Affirmation that you aren't sick or haven't been around anyone that has been sick.

• We ask all clients to pay via check, Venmo or exact change cash.

• No visitors will be allowed in the waiting area unless they are a caregiver for the client.
